Volunteers are needed to assist the UPNA-JP and the Dallas Leadership Foundation with the "City of Hope Day". The purpose of the City of Hope Day is a city-wide community work day that helps persons in need living within target neighborhoods to receive major and minor home renovation and neighborhood clean-up services free of charge. Many of the activities would be appropriate for (supervised) upper elementary or older children, including: painting, pulling weeds, and planting flowers.
